GT Incentive Awards

Matla a Bana awarded Gauteng police members of FCS units with incentive awards for their passion, professionalism and dedication on their work.

Individuals were awarded on various categories.

Best performers - Sergeant Swarts from Tembisa FCS, Constable Babile from Bramley, Constable Dikobe from Garankuwa.

Outstanding achievements - Warrant Officer Mafa from Mamelodi East, Constable Ramalatsi from Bronkhorstspruit, and Captain Segala of Sunnyside for best FCS commander, Capt Ramabala best FCS officer, and Warrant Officer Seemola for service excellence.

These individuals achieved success in their cases, arrests, and securing convictions in challenging cases of child abuse.

Getting Conversation Going. Community outreach project at Willowbridge Shopping Centre by three scholars and Monique Strydom. Spoke to about 160 people and asked them to share our message of Children must not raped and abused. Thank you to Willowbridge Shopping Centre for allowing us to be there. And thank you to our three young men for standing up against the abuse of children

At the end of May, MAB, launched the GETTING CONVERSATION GOING campaign with a special event at the University of Johannesburg. This was followed by a special event at Clearwater Mall where the public and celebrities could show their support by signing on the Wall of Silence.

Radio Tygerberg Radio Campaign

Radio Tygerberg will be running "Karos of Prayer" during this month for the children who are being abused. Each morning they will share a story of a child (based on court cases appearing in court that day). Listeners can then pray for these children. Thanx Nadia and kids - Luc, Kayla and Chrystal for donating their talent to make our ad.
