During my early twenties a serious motorcycle accident changed my life. To recover from my injuries, I took up mountain biking and since then it has become one of my passions in life.
In 2004 I participated in the Trans Baviaan Race and did my first Freedom Challenge in 2009.
This year's race I am dedicating to all the abused children in South Africa.
